Evergreen Tree

Hi their blogging friends. Pleased to say I am feeling much better  and thank you for your good wishes.

The card I am showing today is using one of the new Christmas collection by the lovely Jayne. This one is the Evergreen Tree  and is such a versatile and pretty stamp.

The background card was created using alcohol inks again this time on snow white pearl card.
I stamped  the tree and snowflakes with perfect medium and used Wow white high dimension embossing powder. The sentiment is also from the stamp plate but is a bit difficult to see on the photo as I used a delicate violet Wow embossing powder which does look lovely in real life. The front & back top section of the card are stuck together and the card opens on the fold along where the silver thread goes.
There are some lovely cards on display in the gallery on Jayne's website for inspiration but bare in mind you might sucombe to temptation. You have been warned!
Have a good week everyone.
Hugs

Christmas Joy

Here is another card I've made using the new poinsettia stamp from Jayne Nestorenko. I'm certainly getting my Christmas cards made now I've got these beautiful stamps.

It was my birthday last Sunday and the lovely trellis die that I've used on this card was one of my birthday presents. It's a Spellbinder die and my lovely husband bought me two others, a beautiful swirl panel and a gorgeous butterfly one. I decided to use just the Poinsettia flower without the foliage. I did use the leaves though on the trellis. The sentiment is also from this stamp set and I cut it out with another Spellbinder die.
There are some more stamps to be released from Jayne's Christmas collection soon and I can tell you they are gorgeous so keep a look out.

Sorry I haven't been about much this week but I came down with a bad cold on Monday and haven't been feeling too good all week. Glad to say things are now improving and I am beginning to feel back in the land of the living. Trouble is John seems to have caught it, either that or the flu injection he had on Wedneday has caused a reaction. Either way he's not feeling too good.
So I'll try and do some visiting very soon.
Enjoy the rest of the weekend
love

Christmas Candy

I thought I'd let you know that Jacqui Dennis (Cats Whiskers) has some fabulous candy up for grabs. Jayne Nestorenko has given Jacqui two of her new Christmas stamps to give away, the Holly & Berries and the gorgeous Poinsettia.

I've used the gorgeous Holly and Berries stamp and the sentiment from the same set for these two cards. I stamped them onto Fabrino HP watercolour card using Versafine ink and coloured them using my Whisper brush pens. I highlighted the berries with Diamond glaze. The pearls are Cosmic Shimmer berry red glue.
Take a look at my previous post to see  the Poinsettia stamp.

So don't delay, get yourselves over to Jacqui's blog to be in with a chance to win.
Once again thank you for visiting and good luck

Christmas Poinsettia

Hi everyone. Well I've been having problems with my eyes again this week so not much crafting done. I started seeing this floater infront of my right eye so had to go and get it checked at the eye infirmary just incase I had a problem with my retina. Please to say it was ok just left with this annoying floater appearing every now  and again. I also suffer from Dry eye syndrome which is a bit of a pain in more ways than one and it has really been causing me problems  this week. I think I overdid things last Sunday when I went to Jayne's workshop but it was worth it as we had a great day as always. I find that if I craft or read for too long then I get problems. So it looks like little and often, as the lovely Kay Rutter would say, from now on.
Anyway here is a card I made using one of Jayne's new stamps,The Poinsettia

Sorry the photo's not great. I coloured the image with copics and the wreath patterned background is vellum.

Thank you so much for visiting,

Hugs
